We provide our clients with world-class customer relationship management, including box office ticketing, fundraising, and email marketing technology, all rolled into one system: PatronManager CRM, which is built entirely on the salesforce.com platform.
Where Are We?
Our corporate headquarters are located right in the heart of the theatre district in NYC! You can practically step outside and see the flashing lights of Broadway. That being said, some of our positions are pretty flexible, and we have team members across the world.

Part Time Junior Bookkeeper
Patron Technology seeks a part-time junior bookkeeper (or bookkeeper in training) to round out a smart, fun, four-person team.
You will be needed 6-8 hours on Mondays and Thursdays, and an additional 4-6 hours on a flexible schedule. You will be responsible for entering large amounts of financial data into our accounting system. You will also support our bookkeeper with reconciliations, expense reports, administrative takes, and other projects as they come up. You will learn different aspects of accounting and how debits and credits work for different types of accounts.
You love detail, and you’re something of a perfectionist (and this doesn’t stress you out!). You want to learn more about bookkeeping and the inner workings of a business, and you want an up-close view. You take pride in the quality and quantity of work you do each day, knowing that it contributes to the success of the whole system that’s built on it.
This is an in-house position (not remote).
- proficient with excel
- extremely comfortable working with web-based technology
- fast and accurate typing
- knowledge of quickbooks a plus (but not required - we will train)
- knowledge of Salesforce.com is a major plus

Sales Account Executive
Join our sales team and help us revolutionize the ticketing industry with PatronManager CRM. Our ideal candidate will have a rare combination of passions and interests — performing arts, museums, sports or other live entertainment, plus technology and sales. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, and who has relevant industry expertise. Our potential clients are arts executives, venue managers, fundraising specialists, and box office professionals, and understanding their needs and perspectives is important.
We are seeking someone with a fire-in-their belly attitude, who gets excited about bringing new clients on board and appreciates our hands-on, consultative sales approach.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Guiding potential clients through demonstrations of PatronManager CRM, to help organizations understand the features and the benefits of the system.
- Following up to answer questions, negotiate and close sales.
- Collaborating with the sales team to fine-tune the overall sales process.
Requirements and Considerations:
- You should have an interest in, love for, and/or experience working with performing arts organizations, museums, or sports teams.
- You must be excited about the idea of bringing new technology to market — actual experience selling software or other technology systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience actually using any ticketing, membership management, or fundraising technology system will be helpful.
- You must be able to write in a compelling manner and be equally persuasive on the phone or in person.

Regional Account Executive
This position is envisioned initially as part-time, working approximately 20 hours a week on your own schedule, and is 100% commission based. Depending on the size of your community and your level of energy, this could increase to full-time work.
Our RAEs will contact arts and ticketing-based organizations in their communities, research the existing technology and decision-making structure at these organizations, and assess the potential of PatronManager being a good fit for those organizations.
This work entails a combination of contact methods: email, phone calls, and office visits. Other creative activities are possible, such as group meetings, seminars or sessions hosted by local arts support agencies. This is not a sales position but rather a lead development activity. Your goal is to engage with an organization and convince them that it is worth their time to see a web-based demonstration of PatronManager CRM.
You will need to know a lot about PatronManager CRM (we’ll provide the training), and possibly be able to show a few screens and log-in. However, you would not be expected to demonstrate the system and/or to be ready to answer the myriad of questions that come up during sales process. Our in-house sales team will give the actual demo.
The most important quality for this position is an evangelistic ability to get people excited about what our technology can do for their organizations.
If successful working part-time, we estimate that you could earn $30,000-$40,000 per year. Though there is no base salary, we will reimburse you for approved travel and meals, and other out-of-pocket expenses.
